Breeding Scottish folds is not easy and takes patience, one
thing a lot of people don't realize is that not all Scottish
folds have folded ears.  When properly breeding these
animals you must breed a folded ear to a perk (Straight) ear
to ensure quality and health.  Allowable outcrosses are the
American shorthair the British shorthair. We won't know
how many in a litter will be folded until around 21 days.
Some times none will be folded.  The straight ear Scottish
folds make quality pets as well.
